sgminer is maintained by nicehash and this version was compiled from the source here. The tpruvot version's source is here. I also provide compiled binaries of bfgminer, sgminer, and cgminer. These sgminer binaries have been compiled for macOS 10.11+ by John O'Mara, creator of MacMiner (which also includes sgminer for GUI mining support), so that they can be used without a lengthy install process for sgminer on Mac OS X. Instructions are included in the download, if you have any problems please check the forum.

I have had less success with this than the nicehash version (i.e. Decred mining works fine with nicehash-sgminer but I only get HW rejects using this version) but I have successfully used tpruvot-sgminer for Denarius/Tribus mining which is not supported in the nicehash version. This was compiled without ADL or NVML support because macOS which mostly defeats the point of this branch of sgminer but here it is anyway. |
